Your Family Skiing Holiday
We try to offer the flexibility for you to ski with your children as much or as little as you like. Once the children ave settled in to their lessons, our instructors are always happy for you to tail the lessons (you may even pick up a tip or two yourselves.) In general, unless you are on a specific parent and child programme such as the 'Mum and Me' courses, we find it is most successful to leave the children to it, at least for the first few days. This is particularly the case with younger children (but don't forget there is always a ski nanny on had if your children need anything.)
With the older children's lessons finishing at 3, some parents choose to meet their children for an extra couple of runs at the end of the day.
Snowfocus childcare is provided until 6 pm each evening. But if you want to take a half day on the slopes and spend the afternoon with your children then we will of course do what we can to facilitate that. The are loads of child friendly activities in Chatel for you to enjoy as a family.
Thursday morning race day is a family affair. Our instructors set up a parallel slalom course so the children can race against their mums and dads. It is grea fun and the competitive edge brings on the children's skiing like nothing else could.
Family Ski Day
Saturday is family day which is the highlight of the week! This day is all about celebrating the children's achievements so we start with our Snowfocus presentation. There are no lessons for the children and we all hit the slopes together for some fun skiing on forrest runs and jump parks before a big a family lunch. Sue, AT and the ski nanny will guide you around the best slopes for your family.
