We are Sue Stevenson and AT Cook. We have been living in the beautiful village of Chatel for over 20 years. We have chosen this lifestyle because quite simply, we enjoy it. Initially we ran holidays for friends and families from the UK who would come and visit for long weekends or for a week. Our friends got older and started having kids but we still wanted them to get the most out of their skiing holidays. We started to employ nannies for the season in order to provide childcare and we have never looked back.
In 1997 we designed and built Chalet La Sonnaille in its beautiful spot over the lake. It was designed with family holidays in mind and so it has spacious en suite bedrooms, is well sound proofed and has a large flat garden area for the children's outside play.
We live in an apartment under the chalet with our two boys Alex (15) and Freddie (13) as well as Sydney the Australian sheepdog. This means we are always on hand to help you with your holiday needs.
It is very important to us that whilst you are on your stay here you feel relaxed and at home so please do not hesitate to ask if ther is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.
Each year we employ a team of young, handpicked staff to help with the running of the chalet. We choose our staff very carefully to ensure that they fit in as part of our family, are intelligent, attentive and warm and great with kids.
We hope we will soon be able to welcome you to our lovely chalet.

Meet the Snowfocus Team 2017
Our experienced nanny team of Mikaela and Emma will be returning. They have over 20 years childcare experience between them so you can feel sure that your children are in safe hands.
Joining us as chalet chef is Anna who comes highly recommended from the Orchard's cookery school. She has been working in as a chef in a popular 16th Century gastro pub and is excited about the opportunity to cook her own scrumptious menu in the Snowfocus kitchen.
Tilly and Annabelle will be working as chalet hosts as well as helping out within the nanny service during busy weeks. They both have bundles of enthusiasm and are looking forward to meeting the Snowfocus guests this winter.
Toby will be backing-up both the chalet team and the nannies with a wide ranging job covering driving, guiding and hosting. A recent graduate, Toby is taking some time off to spend some time in the mountains before returning to university. Having grown up working on the family farm, hard graft and outdoor working is nothing new to him.
